Cullture as

a Weapon.

Born in Japan as a military brat to an Australian mother and a Gullah Geechee father, my multicultural lived experience informs my work and propels my multidisciplinary practice forward.

My practice is rooted in the language of material and form, where the visual becomes a space for both refuge and reckoning. Working across painting, ceramics, fibers, and experiential graphic design, I move fluidly between mediums, guided by aesthetic intuition, a reverence for craft, and a deep engagement with the physical act of making.

I graduated from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago in 2017 with a BFA in interdisciplinary Studies and additional concentrations in Visual Communications and Fiber Material Studies. I paint. I write. I create intentitional vessels with clay and strongly feel that learning new things is the spice of life.
